So, let's just take a step back and re-cap: Haunted: After Dark #4 and Film4 FrightFest complete. September, October and November will see Haunted Digital Magazine #7, to be followed by the snappily and romantically titled Haunted Digital Magazine #8 aka the Halloween Special #2 (still with us?), to be followed by the British Horror Film festival which we are sponsoring and fully supporting on October 18th and 19th, to be followed by UFOToday in November (our new digital magazine which is about (guess) all things UFO-ey but done our own inimitable special way) and some amazing news to follow about Haunted: After Dark in the next few days. Film4 FrightFest 2013, returning for its 4teenth year and it has unveiled its biggest line-up in history. From Thurs 22 August to Monday 26 August, the UK’s leading event for genre fans will be at the Empire Cinema in London’s Leicester Square to present 51 films on three screens. Empire 1 will house the main event while the Discovery strands will play in Empires 2 & 4. The new FrightFest Xtra strand, also in Screen 2, will allow fans to catch up with sold-out performances of the most popular attractions.
This year there are eleven countries representing five continents with a record-breaking thirty-three UK or European premieres and ten world premieres’

Why do a Director’s Cut of a magazine? The simple answer is because we can! When we crafted our first outing of Haunted: After Dark, we had the simple aim of producing a beautiful, kick-ass horror and underground magazine that simply wasn’t there in the marketplace. We did have a few problems - notably our iPad and Android distributor being unable to distribute thanks to Apple’s “responsibilities”. We were told, “Would you be happy letting your grandmother see it?”. So we thought, “Hey, fuck it. Let’s do it ourselves”. Let’s present what we have our way. Sadly at that time, we had constraints on the file size and both our .PDF and Flipbook editions had to have the image resolution reduced to allow the file size to fit. We no longer have those constraints. With this in mind and having switched to the new format in Haunted Digital Magazine Issue 5, I felt the time was right to revisit some of the original shoots and features and present them in a way that due to time constraints I was never able to fully satisfy. So here it is. ADHD - After Dark: High Definition. From my perspective, this is the After Dark that I want to see, a complete visual treat from cover to cover - a dark fantasy based on the vision and imagaination of the extremely talented photographers, models and make-up artists that genuinely don’t have outlets for this kind of material. Finally, we have the writer and star of “The Woman” together; “Inbred”’s Alex Chandon, David Bond and Ruggero Deodato have all been a privilege to work with. Haunted: After Dark 2 is here! And so here it is, the most eagerly awaited publication since, well the last one really. Yes we’re back and here for your enjoyment is Haunted: After Dark 2. We certainly feel that it has been worth the wait and we hope that you do. Over 100 pages of the best extreme, dark, naughty horror that money can buy, and when we mean money, we mean just £2, that’s right, two pounds. We’re still banned by Apple and we do not expect this to change and WE DON’T want it to change, this is your one stop horror shop that takes a look at the dark side of horror, the colourful side of horror, the naughty side of horror and as usual its mixed together in our own fun and fresh way. A word of warning to all you under 18s reading this, this magazine is rated 18+ for a reason, if you purchase then you do so at your own risk, although I would if I was an inquisitive 16 or 17 year old!!! Haunted: After Dark magazine is an online digital magazine. Our aim is to bring back alternativeism from heading into mainstream monotomy. People say alternative is the new normal. Why??? Alternative should remain alternative but should be accepted for what it is, that's the difference. Our love of the paranormal and horror saw us produce Haunted Digital Magazine, a fun and fresh take on all things scary and spooky. Whilst we were designing this we were getting a lot of interest from horror themed photographers, models and make-up artists keen to showcase their work. We didn't think that a feature on a 14 yr old ghosthunter would sit right next to a photo pictorial feature on lesbian vampires so Haunted: After Dark was born and created (fanfare please!). We are keen to put alternative and bizarre back to where it belongs and add extreme horror, blood, gore, sex, drugs and rock-n-roll into the mix. We had originally planned for this to go into Apple's iTunes Newsstand. However, they deemed the material to be too strong for their traditional content, so we have to deliver this bad baby ourselves(!), even though we state it's an over 18 magazine. It's available as a Windows PC-Flipbook or a multi-platform PDF and the trial price is just £1.99, no postage. And for Apple users disappointed at the fact that you won't be seeing this on your virtual newsstand, do not worry, as we are giving you instructions on how to install it onto your iPhone, iPad and iPod - and it's just as easy for Android owners (Dropbox - makes life so much easier). And we're also after content, as bizarre as you want, horror, burlesque, fetish, erotica... from writers, photographers, models and make-up artists. We want to show off your work. Installation Instructions
You will then be able to do this with all future issues of Haunted Digital Magazine.
1. Click on the magazine you wish to buy in .pdf format
2. After you have purchased and downloaded your magazine, save it to your PC/Mac desktop.
3. Open iTunes (or equivalent)with your device connected
4. Highlight the magazine on your desktop and drag it onto the iBooks folder (or equivalent) on your device (see Fig.1)
5. After the magazine has uploaded click onto the iBooks icon on your device and select PDF. (see Fig.2)
